MIAMI (April 19, 2010) ---- The Haitian Music & Entertainment Awards is delighted to declare its rebirth on the global stage. After a seven year hiatus the Haitian Music & Entertainment Awards (HME) Founder & President, Ambassador Cynthia Blanc has emerged with a greater vision.

The global Haitian community was dumfounded in 2003 when respected music executive Cynthia Blanc, Founder & CEO of several pioneering Haitian media and entertainment entities, announced in a press release that she was provisionally leaving the business to wholeheartedly pursue God's perfect will & divine purpose for her life. Thus, the HME Awards has not emerged since.

"The day the press release went out everyone thought I was crazy to make such a bold move with my life. But I knew I had to remain focused, and detach myself from the music & entertainment industry, which had consumed me. By accepting God’s call for my life, I had to develop and prepare myself for His orchestrated plan. The demands of the music industry is overwhelming and draining; thus I am now equipped to oversee the biggest musical event in Haitian music, HME Awards. I am divinely predestined to impact this industry and being spiritually alert and grounded is the winning factor” Ambassador Blanc.

Blanc, who has since the HME Awards has positioned herself as a well sought after Minister/Preacher of the Gospel, and Entrepreneur Empowerment Speaker. She clearly states that the Rebirth of the HME awards is credited to divine purpose and community request. Nonetheless, she is most excited because the Rebirth of the HME will help to emotionally liberate Haitians living in the United States and aboard to better cope with the psychosocial issues caused by the devastation of the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti. The earthquake destroyed, but the HME Awards will preserve and encourage the spirits of Haitians through music and the resilience of their native artists. The 8th HME Awards 2011 plight is to present an atmosphere of jubilance, buoyancy and patriotism. The event will serve as a beacon of courage and faith for Haitians worldwide.

The 8th HME Awards Rebirth is scheduled for 2011 in Miami Florida. Details will be announced in the near future.

Mon che, i never took part in her one her award shows, but i heard they used be great shows except that king kino used to have all the awards
