 |
|
This has always been a mystery to me.
I remember attending the Compas Festival in 2002. Konpa Kreyol came out with a Native American theme.
The band wore Native American outfits.
I saw the band on stage.
But I noticed a guys standing next to Ti-Joe in the front.
The guy of course is Theo.
But I don't remember if there was ever a declaration from David or Ti Joe as to why they decided to have 2 BASSISTS.
To me it's a mystery.
What was the reason? _________________ "Mrs. Jones, we got a thing going on...." |

DJK, if I recall correclty, there was a time when Ti Porky was missing some gigs (forgot the reason why) so that's when Theo was hired. They kept him because when one plays the bass the other one helps Ti Joe in front, especially in terms of animasyon... _________________ NU LOOK AND DISIP DEVAN!! SENLY.....2 different versions I have on this. I have the OFFICIAL and UNOFFICIAL.
The "OFFICIAL" version was that STANLEY because of work could not play all the Konpa Kreyol gigs all the time...which was true, but we also have the unofficial version which we got from very close sources to the situation....which we'll keep to ourselves.

well I think the guys were young players in all sense of the word so they needed a more mature bassist to compete on the market _________________ "Emancipate yourself from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind." -

I really hate when you guys speak in code around here ...djazz la kraze deja so say it and get it over with..
The only thing I can think of is when people were saying that Theo quit or something but that was the KL days right? _________________ "Mwen di non, AYITI PAP KRAZE!!!!" |
