 |
|
I know my state politics well and go figure the bluest state in the union may go to the Republicans. Personally, I could careless about Brown, the Republican candidate, but people are sending a message to Obama and his fans we don't want your stinking Health care Bill.
They Dems may lose Mass. next week which can happen fast, expect an avalanche very soon.
Naivite by Obama cause all this. How did he expect a first term president to solve the health care crisis. You start the wheels and change the system slowly until the timing is right. _________________ Statehood or Bust |

Wow! what a prediction? you are such a "prevoyant" with this post...
H1- As a progressive democrat I think this lost has little to do with Obama.
This lady Coakley took a 3 weeks vacation in December instead of campaigning.
Anyway, congress need to do the something about healthcare.
The electorate is upset with the dems because they're taking too
long to get sh*t done. Enfin... A suivre _________________ Se "Tap pa Dap" epi "Avanse sou Djazz la" |

The word was she was going to lose the base because people were scared of the healthcare bill. Personally, the way the Dems tried to work it and delayed it was a total disaster.
This was a expected. _________________ Statehood or Bust |

Oh please. She was a terrible candidate who thought she was a shoo-in for Kennedy's seat and she appropriately and predictably got her ass handed to her! Once Brown got a lil momentum, there was going to be no stopping him.
Special elections and mid-terms require an energized base and right now the right is bubbling with energy while the left is unhappy with the increased troop levels in Afghanistan, Wall St. bonuses, and because the health care bill doesn't have everything they want in there....As a result, they stayed their asses home (the same way some on the right stayed home during the prez election). The dems lost the center because Job prospects are still up in the air.
No doubt the admin will have to focus big time on jobs and hope there's a downtick in unemployment rates or else there'll be a blood bath in November.
As for healthcare, they're still right on the doorsteps, even with Brown's election. I honestly can't think of a better time to have tackled this issue than when they did. _________________ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

Arrogance is the worst thing that could happen to an individual... and that is what happened to her.
This was clearly TED KENNEDY's seat, not the democrats seat as they thought.
Things could change at the drop of a dime in politics. _________________ A man who has taken possession of his own mind may take possession of anything else to which he is justly entitled_ Carnegie |

And then what? seriously!
Can you even imagine John McCain leading the efforts in Haiti? I can't! _________________ Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.

@JVJ - what is that suppose to mean??? Do you really think B-Rack is spearheading the rescue mission himself... C'mon man...
Epi - epi kisa... Epi anyen... That's just what's been going on at 1600 the last year... I would think POTUS would correct this country's financial status, before burying it with mor financial pains with this healthcare bill... One whole year has been wasted on this healthcare bill, with still no results... Meanwhile, billions of dollars in bailout money is running loosely in and out of America, unemployment rate is at an all time high, and foreign relations - are just that foreign relations... So what changes have occured in the last 12 months... Yeah CHANGE, more "change" in my pocket... Getoulahere man...
