We basically asked HARMONIK guitarist SANDERS if it would be a stretch if we said that HARMONIK was among the TOP 3 tours of Haiti in DECEMBER. This is what he told us.
SANDERS: "I am NOT going to say that were were number 1, but I can tell you that YES, WE WERE IN THE TOP 3. I could see it and feel it in terms of the attendance. Every party was a success. Our popularity from the last time we went to Haiti, compared to what went down in December is better. The people knew all the words to every single song."
SANDERS continues "Even saw something that had never happened before. In "OBSEDE", we had to stop the song for 2 minutes before starting it over, all that because the fans were screaming and singing it, and they would not let us do it. It was crazy. To answer your question, YES, HARMONIK was among the TOP 3 TOURS of HAITI this DECEMBER."

TOP3 ?....Slightly Exagerated........Oh Non....Top 5, Maybe.....Still, I will say Congrats to HARMONIK on a Fantastic Haiti Tour. Nouvel la rive bo lakay mwen

Whether one wants to admit or not, whether you like the band or not, Harmonik is slowly climbing up the latter. The funny thing is, some bands will be caught looking like a dear caught in headlights when it does happen.

You really gotta give it to Harmonik!!!
I witnessed what this band did at Le Florville with Carimi on December 27. It was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
I also believe they are now one of the top bands in the business, probably in the top 3 especially since Djakout and Nu Look have been going through a crisis. Harmonik's popularity and value have increased significantly as for other bands they are decreasing.
Simple rule: some go down, others go up. And that's working for Harmonik now. There's also the Nicky factor: he left Zenglen and created Harmonik... Zenglen has gone done while Harmonik is going up.
