|
Noldy's letter touched me and i know it opened the eyes of manyy MVG out there.
However i doubt band owners are going to change anything about their current structure.
Even tho new bands are a dime a dozen, it seems like every week there are two more added , with a single release then nada.... It is actually not that easy to start a band, let alone MAKE IT...
so many very talented musicians end up as a gigger in a band that already made it, or on the starting band of someone influential that is bound to make it...
This post is just for fun where i treat the HMI as a leaugue draft and we can discuss the MVGs, meaning a gigger whose departure from current band would probably not destroy the band but would have a huge impact...or maybe they are next best things in the making, a gigger so talented, you cant wait to see him on his own project...
My top 3 MVGS are:
Stephanne GIlles... i think Micky would seriously retire if he was to leave, and icant wait for Stephan to bring Groov la back
Glenny Benoit... Dunno if he is still a gigger, but his departure from Carimi would... whats the word.... kill the buzz? I would love for hoim to drop a cd too... with all the hits he had with Kdans now that he is more mature li tap move anpil....
Fabrice Guirand.. Harmonik, the kid is so talented, its the next Nicky... His departure from Harmonick wouldnt affect anything at all, but if he was to launch his own project , hits, hits hits
