According to some sources we have down there, out of the 5000 cds that the group apparently made available down there in Martinique, close to 4000 have been sold already. Remember that it was just a week + ago that they did their cd release down there.

| tant mieux si l'album a été bien acceulli, on ne peut pas en dire autant pour le groupe. Car Carimi était aux antilles pour la présentation de l'album la soirée, ce fut un vrai désastre !!!!!!!! |

YOU MEANT TO TELL US CARIMI ALBUM RELEASE PARTY IN MARTINIQUE WAS A FAILURE?
WAS IT LACK OF PLANNIFICATION/PROMOTION OR THE CARIMI FANS OVER THERE DIDN'T COME OUT TO SUPPORT THEIR GROUP?

I THINK FANM HAS A POINT THERE. WITH ALL HYPE THE ALBUM HAD WEEKS BEFORE ITS RELEASE, THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN 2 OR 3 TIMES THAT AMOUNT AVAILABLE IN MARTINIQUE AND THE SAME AMOUNT IN GUADELOUPE. CUZ WHEN THE 5,000 IS GONE AND THERE IS HIGH DEMAND FOR THE CD, BOOTLEGGERS WILL REPRODUCE IT

I am sorry to hear that Carimi cd realease party in Martinique was a disaster. It should of been a success for any truly international band.
If they indeed sold 4000 cds, that would be a success, most hmi bands don't even sell 400 cds in that market.
