I have a question for those crazy fans of only one band. Are you ever willing to admit (if ever that would happen) that for some reasons or the other you become a fan of your band's nemesis because you realize that your band's nemesis played much better than your favorite band?
Well it happen to me during the zin and phantoms era. I used to be a die hard zin fan tuye-m rache ban-m zin and then i started to take time to really listen to phantoms one day and realize that phantoms play better. Am i a traitor for becoming my band nemesis's fan? Or should i feel guilty and just stay an undercorver fan?

Just because you have a favorite band doesnt mean that you can't appreciate other bands's music. It shouldn't be like that at all especially if you claim that you love Konpa or music.
And it's not always a matter of who plays better and who doesnt. It's mostly about your personal satisfaction and feeling towards a certain band.

belfam , just because you praise on specific band doesn't mean for you not to appreciate others.
You just need to believe in your band.

This is a wonderful topic. THANKS.
In the old days during the SCORPIO/DP rivalries, or even further back during the GYPSIES/DIFFICILES rivalries....THAT WOULD BE SUICIDE. You would NOT dare do that to admit that you LOVE the rival band's music. (Lol)
Can you imagine a fan of SEPTAN saying that about Tropic in THEIR neighborhood in Haiti? 
Having said that, a fan of TVice or Djakout...or a fan of Kreyol La or Krezi should NOT be ashamed to say that they LOVE the other group's music. It just shows that you love COMPAS.
That's my take on it. THANKS for the topic...A GOOD ONE.
