Remember the post when we asked "IF" or "WHEN" KREYOL LA would surpass T-VICE or/and CARIMI's popularity, since to most people, they seem to be trailing those two in popularity...since they seem to share most of the same fan base?
Today we got a call from a KREYOL LA "close" insider, and he told me that KREYOL LA was NOT happy because they really don't feel/think that they are behind in popularity.
INSIDER: "Whereas with T-VICE, because of what they have done in the past, we might accept that they might be ahead, but with CARIMI..NOU NAN BATAY JIS NAN PENALITE. When CARIMI comes to Haiti, they are not packed at the clubs. In terms of the ANTILLES, if you remember vividly, ROBERT CHARLOT of TOP VICE fame who travels there all the time, he said it himself on Kompa Magazine that the band who is the most popular down there is KREYOL LA."
INSIDER continues "The group has gone down there at least 2 times this year already. In terms of Paris/France, the group will be heading there for the 3rd time shortly THIS YEAR ALONE. As far as the U.S, they've been to Miami 4 times, New York 5 times, and I won't even count Boston. Haiti, you already know where they stand. So HOW can people say or ask "WHEN" or "IF" KREYOL LA will ever surpass the popularity of T-VICE/CARIMI? If they are more popular than KREYOL LA, it is based on what?"

Anyway I love Kreyol La but overall I don't think they're more popular than Carimi, in Haiti without question they more popular but places like France, Canada and the US Carimi vale terrain sou yo

It's plain and simple, T-Vice and Carimi are more popular than Kreyol La, period.
It's not even a close match. People from other countries know of T-Vice and Carimi, they're common in a lot of French speaking countries, but Kreyol La is not.

Kreyol la has gained popularity.
But to say that they are more popular than carimi is a big time stretch.

Kreyo La has gained serious popularity over the last couple years, but on the real Carimi is more popular than Kreyol La.
Popularity Poll between these 2 (my opinion)
Carimi 90% due to more hits, production, collaboration with other market, more headline news, and that new album might just take them to. That 100%.
Kreyol La 80% needs more hit, need collabo with other market, and possibly a new album soon to keep people mind off the Buzz. Lol... Honestly Kreyol La is not that far, just step it up more.
