KENNY DESMANGLES of ZENGLEN recalls one of the darkest days in his life. The SEPTEMBER 11TH horror.

KENNY DESMANGLES: "I was right there on the manhattan bridge... I was coming from brooklyn going home to Manhattan.

My girlfriend lived in brooklyn at the time... so, on my way home, half way throught the bridge. I noticed a lot of comotions going on, some cars actually stopped in the middle of the bridge! some people stepped out their vehecules to look, there was smoke coming out of some buildings, traffic was moving slow.

I could tell from where i was, that something was going terribly wrong, but i couldnt see clearly... So finally, when i got to manhattan people was running every where, i rushed to get home. When i turned on the tv, i learned that it was the world trade center building that was hit, the first plane had already hit... I lived on 16th street on the west side of manhattan, let me tell you, it was a horrible site to see, people running, big chunck of smoke or should i say dust, dirt, you named it, it was flying in the air.

It was so close to home, i could smell it... By that time, i think the second building had just gotten hit, it was like a war zone in manhattan... People were just trying to get away from the downtown area. But, as a curious man that i am, i was outside my house at this point, heading to the direction, closer to the incident.

I didnt get too far before i met the barecades of the NYPD, say maybe halfway through looking straight down at the 3 world financial building, as it was getting burn, that building is right next to the world trade center, i could actually saw people falling out of the buildings . I will never forget that day, it was indeed a very sad experience, one that i wouldnt want to experience ever again... May GOd Bless the sole of all these people that lost their lives in this incident, and their families."
