SOME HMI PERSONALITIES NEED A REALITY CHECK…
I would like to start with a personal story that I will make public today to support my post…
I usually don't pass flyers for bals...but since I wanted to help built the popularity of Rafrechi, I took some flyers with me to the Orlando fest just for the movers and shakers of the HMI...otherwise people who are in the business...I wanted them to know that Rafrechi is playing in N.Y on August 1st....Well that's my own little strategy and I have my reasons for that...
When I showed the flyer to Blaise he told me that "since HE IS A SUPERSTAR...he can't be seen holding the flyer of any other band"....
I said to myself WTF that guys just said to me and who the hell that he think he is...Blaise...HUMMMMM not Blaise...I must be dreaming....
Not even a minute later MICHAEL GUIRAND OF CARIMI walked to me and asked to see the flyer...he read it and put it in his jean's pocket...and I said to myself well...Blaise must be a superstar and Michael Guirand is not a superstar....OH WELL....that too is wrong...GOSH...I'm so confuse...
REALITY CHECK...

n. 1.A widely acclaimed star, as in movies or sports, who has great popular appeal.
2.One that is extremely popular or prominent or that is a major attraction.
Which one best describe Blaise....widely acclaimed -great popular appeal-extremely popular-prominent or major attraction...
That day Blaise was playing for Tempo...I didn't see the park going crazy when Blaise walked on the stage....I didn't see the Haitian press all over him...I didn't see the ladies in the back stage going nuts or following Blaise...I never see people lining up for his autograph...so why would holding the flyer of any other band will make him less of what/who he is now....
This superstar thing is only in his mind...even wearing "white" still don't make him more noticeable that the other musicians in the room...
So I would like to ask my fellow posters "do you know of some more average artists/media personalities/sound men/DJs/band owners/band managers/photographers etc... in the HMI who think too much of themselves….and need a serious reality check...?"
In other words on a scale of 1 to 10...while they think that they are a 9 or a 10...in reality to the public and/or to you...pa guen sa pyes....

Well, i think blaise needs a reality check? If blaise was that big of suuperstar, , he would not have waited that long to land a job with tempo? 
Come on! You are telling that you are such a big superstar, you cannot even help another artist, band? 
What the hell is wrong with a muscian supporting a brother musician?
yes, michael guirand is one of a kind!
To be honest with you, i think michael is a much bigger superstar than blaise. Maybe, blaise used to be, but not now! Blaise shoud have been more diplomatic in giving you the answer
