 |
|
A musician who knows the inner workings of the NU LOOK crew, and who has relations with the 2 big dogs in the group (ARLY & GAZZMAN), told Kompa Magazine last night that "I GIVE THE NU LOOK/DOF CHANCY UNION 6 MONTHS before it ends on a bad note. LAP FINI MAL..SONJE MWEN TE DI'W SA."
The musician continues "ARLY is NOT used to people telling him what to do, and when some personal bills for both band owners start stacking up, and if ARLY & GAZZMAN are no longer able to handle/control things (The band's cash flow) the way that they are used to doing, where ONLY THEY know how much a promoter is really paying them for a gig), they will see that the union is NOT to their PERSONAL advantage. TI DOF is also a businessman, a brasseur who would not take the NU LOOK job unless he was sure that a good amount of money would be coming his way. So when you put those factors together, it points to the people that I mentioned CLASHING. I give it 6 months."

He has a point. ti Doff has to be bringning something major to the table such as other contacts to get gigs in other places that they have not been to. If not they will see this move as one that is only benefiting Doff. |

What is the point of this post when richard urbain said almost the same thing? Why at least, give the union a chance and see what you are saying will become a reality?
Ala bet decourajean se aysien, messieurs
Give the freaking union a chance and then you guys will have plenty to say?
How you guys know it will not work. Arly, i am pretty sure, was the one making the decision of hiring a manager? He might also be the one giving the manager a chance to do his job/
As of now, i will give the union a chance
Se pwoblem sa wi le fini yap di ou se fanatik? But, pessimism, fok ayisien kite sa, negativite, kite sa _________________ AUX PAS, AVEC LE KOMPAS! |

That person is right, adding a manager will only decrease Arly & Gazzman income 20% or more. Had they had a manager before the group start it would not be a problem, but being the most successful band at the moment to simply add a manager as an extra expense it is questionable???? Also by adding a manager, Arly & }AZZMAN. Does not have full control of cash flow anymore. In addition, the manager telling them what to do is something else. My opinion I will consider Arly & Gazzman to add 2 managers instead (a family member by both sides, which we all know there is going to be clash @ some point, but would last longer than 6 months). Or leave the band the way it is... the musicians wheter they like it or not, they are used to this system, because NU LOOK has been around for how many years now....? _________________ "It's not wheter you win or lose, it's wheter I win" |

Unless the manager can provide a way for the band to make more money, there will be no union. Both Gazman and Arly will not let someone make a profit of them, while doing the same job. Si se pou sa jazz la tap gentan gin manager lontan. |

CELESTIN
I am NOT asking you to agree with me...but what YOU or any others will NOT do BECAUSE OF YOUR FRIENDSHIPS & FANATICISM WITH some bands/musicians, is to keep me from reporting the news.
Not that I need to justify this to you but I will give you this...RICHARD URBAIN is not just any HMI promoter, he is one who is credited with putting ARLY & GAZZMAN together after the DZINE COUP D'ETAT, so his comment was newsworthy...and this musician in question is one who is NOT just any musician. If you took your time to read what I wrote, you would see that I said a musician who has relations with NU LOOK, and who knows and had dealt with the crew for many many years...of course he did not want to reveal his identity for fear that the members involved would hold his opinion against him.
On another front...RICHARD URBAIN did NOT say that the union would not work. He has his reservations, but did say that IT CAN WORK. This musician straight up said IT WOULD NOT. Therefore 2 DIFFERENT ANSWERS.
Have a good day CELESTIN.
PS: CHOUBENZ is a friend of the band/fanatic malade like yourself...YET, he just gave his opinion ON WHAT THE MUSICIAN SAID....UNLIKE YOU, who thinks if you attack me that I will stop reporting the news like I've done for many many years EVEN BEFORE YOU KNEW ARLY:shock: or became his good friend. I am pretty sure if I found someone who said something TO YOUR LIKING about the topic/question, you would have no objections whatsoever.
OU FE FOT brother. Have a great day.
