I think that every band needs both in order to be successful in the hmi, but i think looks will beat talent it really comes down to picking one.
I look at a few bands in the hmi that if another group of musicians were playing the same style, would not even come close to their success level. A band with just average lookind musicians have to be twice as talented as a band with good looking musician.
