mwen pa songe ki denye fwa ke'm te ale lan yon bal kote 2 jazz ap jwe pou sa te pase byen...
se swa premye jazz la jwe twop ou byen li pa jwe ase...
epi toujou gen yon pwoblem ak ki jazz kap jwe avan e ki jazz kap jwe apre...
mwen pa kwe li lan avantaj promoteur yo tou, lan tan klorox sa'a, pou yap peye expenses pou 2 jazz ki pa menm garanti yon profit..
pou mwen 2 band format la se yon perte de temps et d'argent...
an nou retounen ak yon sel jazz la, konsa jazz la ka pran san'l pou'l jwe san prese e moun ki deplase yo ka jwenn plis pou kob yo...
kisa nou di?

I never liked the two band format thing, if it was up to me all party should start at 10PM and ending 1 or 2AM, because I am not trying to stay out until 4 or 5AM and have a hang over the next day.

I wouldn't mind it at all...I always have a blast when its a one band format especially when its my fave bands!!!! The thing is though, the frequency of these bands playing out here also gets redundant!!! Bring some oldies and goodies to the table too...I have yet to see Tabou Combo. I wouldn't mind seeing them alone at SOB's..Mizik Mizik..Emeline Michel...switch it up from time to time.

I like the one band format for big bands but from time to time you have to get upcoming band in the mix. I do prefer the one band format specially in Boston plus mizik, plus diversity and improvisation

No one wants to start a new trend....... Give me a one band format and throw in funk master flex or dj self, and you got a sold out party.......

forgot to mention nice venue....... maybe strata or something.......

Two band format as advertised does not really exist in the HMI, When it does happen it s usually One a half band that plays because one plays way more than the other and between sound checks and DJ s a a voye. Having said so, it 's time to get rid of the one and a half band format and play one band with a solid DJ
