THE PARTY

Rafrechi Set
As we all know, RAFRECHI celebrated the release of their very first album Eske'n Pare with Kreyol La in Washington D.C. We already witness them doing soundcheck and craking a few jokes with the Kreyol la crew so now let's get to the party.
The party started around 11:30. RAFRECHI welcomed the kompa fans entering the venue with their first uptempo single Wap Plede Gade Mwen. After the crowd enjoyed the food that was provided for the night and say hi to their friends, they found their way to the dance floor as Rafrechi was playing their most recent single: Eske'n Pare. As people started to enjoy the song, the sound was cut off. The guys didn't show panic but they were anxious to get the sound back and keep the momentum of the night. When the sound was fixed, they went on to play their new song Men Yo another uptempo song. Then, they switched to a more mellow song Fanm Baz La and then BOOM again..the sound was cut off. Many were a little disappointed cause the guys were having a very good night and the sound issue was slowing them down. The host of the night announced that Rafrechi will play their last song Tempted To Touch. People make sure they rushed in front of the stage to dance the last segment of their set. The animation was great, the slide left to right followed by the kage sou do skit from Kiki and Gary(singers) was a hit. Jean Gardy bay bel kout guita, Mickey mete bon batterie, Ced depose bel solo pendant ke Rodlin ap accompagne li, Mario ap fe bass la ronfle pendant ke Nixon ak Roody ap depoze bon kout gong ak tambou.

Kreyol La Set
After enjoying Rafrechi so much, Kreyol La monte sou stage la. It was my first time seeing them since Kreyol La forme. I was in an euphoria state so don't ask me to tell you what song they played. Mwen te gaga devan djazz la...LOL...Kreyol La monte ak yon sel keyboard, yo tuye moun ak kompa. The crowd was going wild and they couldn't get enough of them. Ti Joe depose animation ak ti koze ti dwet anle a, Loulou depose bon kout guita epi Ansyto bay bon kout keyboard. Ti Ansyto di li pap rete san li pa jwe, li rale gong li, Theo renmen konpa an tou, li mande fe yon ti kout tou The sound cut off during Kreyol La set but they resolve it by shutting down two stage projectors. Towards 2:00 am, yo lumen lumye yo...Ti Joe di pa gen bagay konsa, djazz la ap jwe ak tout lumye, li rale baguette li pou'l leve orchestra an. The only thing that stop the bal was a fight that break out on stage behind Ti Blanc, kreyol La's tambour player. Mickey from Rafrechi intervene quickly with some others to make sure no one else got hurt. Ti Joe brush off the drama by saying: Nap salue Bruce Lee ak Jackie Chan ki te nan Bal la aswe a....Moun Yo kontan epi Ansyto lage ti groove Sal ye Sal ye....La Police la di non, salle la pa ka pran tout groove sa yo...Between Rafrechi and Kreyol La, trop groove, femen bal la

Ti Joe on Jere Sexy'w
Apres bal la, musiciens 2 djazz ak plates manje nan main yo. Ti Joe te kampe avek Ced epi Gary(2nd singer). Ced gen yon plate gryots, bannan plikliz epi yon bon du ri cole. Ti Joe di mesyeu fe yon ti leve plate manje a pou'l we yon bagay. Li gade gryots, li souke tete li epi li di: Hehe si m'al manje bagay sa la aswe a li pap bon pou mwen. Nou mande Ti Joe poukisa la? Ti Joe di Gary: Misyeu(Ced) se deye keyboard la li kampe, li ka cache vent li but nou menm pied micro a pap cache vent nou So ti mesyeu yo, manje le swa pa bon pou sexy nou nan summer sa
