Here is an official statement from TVICE maestro REYNALDO MARTINO in regards to the SANDERS issue/NBC gig.

REYNALDO: "Hi to everyone again... I was a bit frustrated at the way things went this morning at the NBC gig and was a bit over heated when i was talking to Pat. I apologieze if I used some words that was out of content earlier (les moun fache yo joure .. but i think that many people including Sanders missed the Big Picture!

I lashed out at Sanders because as a brother musician, he should not have gone and called KM after five minutes to criticize our performance. He should have known better since he has been over the TV station already and that is why I was mad. It looked like Sanders wanted to make this a Djakout/T-Vice debate when what we did this morning was way bigger than all of this! Why does it have to be "Chien Manje Chien" all the time? Sanders acted like he was looking and praying for any little mistake to capitalize on, which in fact shows that there is no unity amongst us Haitian musicians. I can tell you that Nicky is a good friend of mine and T-Vice and Harmonik are cool like that...

Haitian Music was on NBC!! Chef creole was on NBC, Compas Fest Was on NBC, CREOLE was spoken on NBC it was a very big day for us Haitians living in Miami and all over and i was very proud!

There were some technical difficulties at the beginning which were out of our hands which were later fixed..We did manage to do the best that we could with what was given to us...We did prepare for the show, it's just that the Studio was not setup for live appearances and the crew were a bit out of their norm. I thank Noel and Cecibon for this great opportunity and for exposing our culture to the world!

Gromosso, black dada's team and Yvrose from Compasfest were all there they can tell you guys that all was good to go until the moment that they told us to start and we could not hear ourselves. It was like playing with no sound for like 15 sec and we could not stop! As professionals we played it off but musicians could tell that there was a problem. This could have happened to any musician playing under these circumstances...The problem later got resolved and we performed twice again towards the end which was good!

I'll be waiting for you guys in Miami for the big weekend and thanks for your birthday wishes and your support...

Good thing that you acknowledge your mistake with this public apology. I didn't even think you would do it. I hope you learn the lesson: when you're angry and frustrated, take some time to cool down before reacting.

It's perfectly understandable. It has happened to me sometimes too, and I always regret it.
