The konpa based band of DC/MD Rafrechi signs a deal with Tropidisk for the distribution of the upcoming album.
Both parties are very happy...and the owner of Tropidisk Ti Michel made the decision after hearing the full album...While the guys of Rafrechi are confident of songs like Eske'n Pare Fanm Baz, Sensation and others, it's a complete different song that is not out yet that got the attention of Ti Michel...and as he puts it....guen anpil kòb nan music sa....
Kiki the singer of band is very happy because that's a song he made for the love of his life...
The album will be out in Europe and the French Caribbean Islands in a heart beat...
This weekend Rafrechi is doing a party for close friends and family to have their first copies...and on May 23 they will have the record release party for the public with Kreyol La direct from Haiti at a hotel in Maryland...
So finally you will have the product made in DC/MD at a store near you....
and the rest is...get ready to dance...because the band has been refusing contracts outside of DC/MD...prior to the release of the album....

The answer is NO...I'm not a musician of Rafrechi...and you shall see that on the album cover....
Like I said many times...I appreciate the courage of the guys and this is the reason that I continue to give them my support...
H1...contacts were made from people in N.Y/FL/CT/DE/MA some of them are band owners that wanted to put Rafrechi with their bands...but the guys felt that it was not time yet...they didn't want to go out prior to the release of a studio album. They tried that a few years ago when they went to Haiti and did a couple of shows here and there...then they regroup/rethink/ and went to work...No one can blame them for that...
Have you seen the video..."Eske'n Pare"...it's serious work...it's not like the ones that they released on the early days of the band.
The band is now playing with a full ban dèyè...it's nothing like the time of the drum machine...
