Hey KM !!!

What do you all know about serority and fraternity groups/clubs In college I never really understood the actual point of these things being around!! They make people do real stupid acts and then after it's like ...WHY ???

I heard that the purpose of these clubs were so that once one were done with college, members of the particular group would have "eachothers back" and graduating from college, this member would be able to find ANY job. Is this true

KM peeps, help me see the light....what does one get out of being a member of a fraturnity or serority club

Either way...I did consider pledging Delta Sigma Theta undergrad and my ex was a Q-dog I liked it then and stilll do now but that whole beating my a$$ sh8t I'm not down for and I'm not sure if the girls that pledged when I was thinking about it went through all that but there are some assinine things that some frats and sororities do for the sake of brotherhood and sister hood that I can care less for

I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta - And I did pledge undergrad. Now joining is a sorority is a personal matter, everyone will have a different reason to join. The pledging process can be let's say "difficult" but what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. The pledging process is meant to, at the end, build you not destroying. There is hazing and hazing, though all NPHC organizations are non-hazing.
Anyhow, yes you have the networking factor, but it's way more than that.....When you join for the right reasons, it's truly beautiful!

And Daph, I'm still my very own person! Wait, I was a solo...then b**** did drop of my line....
