Did Ti Joe foresee that sub-par performance in front of the media stands most associated with internet viewers? Did he perceive that, on the 1st day of kanaval, Kreyol La would wilt under the scrutinizing eyes of the internet viewers in an ironic, yet painful few minutes that seemed like an eternity ? Of all the places for this to happen, why did it have to happen at that spot?
It was saddening to watch as Ti Joe & Ti Ansyto, with heads down and shoulders slumped, looked like they felt defeated.
By some accounts (mostly Princess Naya’s), Kreyol La “fan moun” on the rest of the parade. But major players know that if you’re coming up chanmas, epi gen ratman kap bay, il faut faire de son mieux pour conserver ce qu’il vous en reste pou ka vin vide li devan Sakapfet & KM.

The irony in all this is that Ti Joe justifiably elevated the “béton canvassers” to positions of MIV (most influential voices) in determining “kiyès ki te byen pase”, while dismissing “internet canvassers” as unreliable pricks devoid of sufficient data and reference points to render conclusive opinions. Ce qu’il na pas prévu c’est que les "démarcheurs du béton" (béton canvassers) auraient affiché la meme réaction enregistrée par les spectateurs suivant les festivités sur les petits écrans de leurs ordinateurs.
