HANGOUT songstress SAIDA sent me this note regarding fans criticizing her wardrobe for INDYFEST apparently. Check it out.
SAIDA: "HEY PAT, NOT THAT I AM DEFENDING MYSELF IN ANYWAY, BUT EVERY AMI ARTIST ALWAYS EXPLAINS THEIR LOOK...LOL..NOW SOME THOUGHT IT WAS PANTIES OR EVEN GRANDMA DRAWS (LOL), BUT ACTUALLY IT WAS A ONE PIECE BATHING SUIT, WITH A MID RUFFLE, TOPPED WITH A JACKET THAT I DESIGNED MYSELF...
I WAS INSPIRED BY RIHANNA WHO WORE SOMETHING VERY SIMILAR AT AN MTV AWARDS SHOW SINGING THE SAME THING I SANG ("LIVE YOUR LIFE") AT INDYFEST...IF ITS OK FOR RIHANNA, BEYONCE AND PINK, WHY NOT SAIDA? LOL...OF COURSE, I MAY NOT HAVE THEIR PERFECT BODY, BUT STYLE AND FASHION IS SOMETHING I AM INTO AND ALSO COMFORTABLE WITH WEARING THEM AND TAKING THAT EXTRA STEP TO BE DIFFERENT WITHIN THE HMI.
BUT THANKS TO YOU ALL WHO LIKED AND DISLIKED IT. I AM ALWAYS OPEN TO CRITICS - your opinions always matters. But most importantly, its about being an entertainer and having the talent to sing for your enjoyment. Love ya'll, PEACE OUT!!"

SAIDA.. I liked the fact that you weren't scared to take that RISK! Too bad I didn't get a chance to catch the performance so Im waiting on some video clips but Girl, I think you looked like a STAR! Its a major festival so why not kick it up a few notches and do something out of the ordinary!.. That's what its all about!.. OF course you can't please all eyes so just keep it moving! I really admired your BOLDNESS.. you go girl.. Look forward to more future looks!..

Saida... you know we are kool and all and what I am about to say I say it with all honesty!
I applaud your courage and bravery to take such a risk and wear that outfit. I was there right in frt of the stage and I have to tell you that not too many people including me liked it.
Saida, I think I would have liked this better:
