 |
|
*Do you believe that HMI stars should be worried or not about how they are perceived by members of the public BASED ON THE TYPE OF CAR THAT THEY DRIVE?
*Do you believe that Haitian society JUDGES an HMI star in regards to if HE/SHE is doing well based on the type of car that he's seen cruising in around town?
ARE "YOU" guilty of that?
What's your take on the matter?

WELL... I THINK THEY SHOULD BE WORRIED, B/C THE COMMUNITY/SOCIETY AUTOMATICALLY EXPECTS YOU TO BE SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT WHEN YOU CARRY THE TITLE SUCH AS " SUPERSTAR". I KNOW THE HMI DOESN'T BRING THAT MUCH IN FINANCIALLY TO SOME, BUT IT'S ALWAYS GOOD TO DRIVE A DESCENT CAR.
IF I SEE ONE OF OUR "SUPERSTAR" IN A HOOPTIE, TRUST ME I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE TO BE LIKE OH NO, WHAT THEY HECK R U DRIVING THE CAR YOU DRIVE DOES SAY HOW WELL YOU ARE DOING _________________ ~ ou pa ka gason, pou groupie yon lot gason konsa... ou ka apresye yon artist, men le'w komanse ap joure fanm, derespekte moun... ah monche sa se yon problem
nou we kote'w kanpe deja, no more to prove~

I hope that's not the case but who are we kidding here, some people will judge you on the type of kilot or kalson you wear so we won't even get into cars. For me that's a very superficial and sad thing to do but that's just me.
Some artists are all about PERCEPTION, they would rather be seen in the Benz or BMW then own their own home GO FIGURE. _________________ Music is love in search of a word.

Maybe in Haiti this works but here I don't see why there is a little something called CREDIT...a person can be driving a Honda and is paying more than a person driving a G55...so I don't know where Haitians get that you can judge the person on a car |

I think there is a perception out there that if an hmi musician or anybody for that matter is driving a luxury car , they're doing well or vice versa. In my opinion, it's just a PERCEPTION that does mean that i'ts TRUE. We all know that!Unfortunately, people( I included ) tend to make jugements based on appearance! It's just something we need to work on !
Like Impartial stated there is something call credit! We tend to forget these things! _________________ ****Deal with the faults of others as gently as with your own****

This is not only for HMI star........once you have one or 2 nice cars.....and some expensive clothes.... from out 1 to 10 you'll find at least 5 people who will think that person must have money....whether its here in the US or Haiti...
there was a time here all some need to get some booty is a nice ride.. you don't even need to say much..women used to fall for that.. Give them a ride, exchange numbers, invite them to your house.. bingo.. score home run..
still going on today.. _________________ djakout renouvle pouvwa'l... djakout renouvle pouvwa'l........... gade amba'm wa we.. men kompa

i do not like when star are doing exhibition like this most of them end up looking like wannabees because has someone said there is credit
i am most likely to be impressed by a very approachable nature------
till today i am impressed with how simple and how approachable micky is ------ my mom talked se pa micky kap plede di betiz --he made a joke--was so funny he does not pretend anything
i don,t even remeber the exibitionist with their big ride _________________

How many Haitians do you know, who's driving a BMW or Lexus, but cannot afford their rent? Or are living in tiny, unlivable apartments with 3 other people?
Like they say: "L'habit ne fait pas le moine."
We all know the realities of the financial situation of HMI artists. If he/she was sporting a "nice ride" the first thing that comes to mind would be: On moun kap ede l eye l', or mwa prochen li pap genyen l'!!
(of course that does not apply to all HMI artists, but many of them)
So does it matter to me, NOPE!

Car game... I always thought car game was a masculine thing, and not an artist thing solely... I am a fan of music, if my favorite artist should pull up to a show driving a Pinto, I could careless... But if this same artist would pull up to a show driving an S550, I would be somewhat impress, but if later that evening we go to this artist's house, and he is living in a basement off of Eastern Parkway somewhere, driving a $150K car, I would think to myself what a fool...
If an artist wants to impress me, or make me a believer, show me your house game, bank account game, & where you vacation game... That $150K car can easily be stolen, carjacked or totaled... And then what...
So to answer the question at hand... Nope, it doesn't matter what an artist drives, because the real hitmaker/show stopper is driven... _________________ Se Nou Ki Nou, A Pre Nou, Se Nou, N'ap Tou Jour Nou |
