DON'T EXPECT A CARIMI SINGLE anytime soon, confirmed to me by both CARLO VIEUX and MICKAEL GUIRAND.
Below, MICKAEL explains why he is jumping off the "single" bandwagon.
MICKAEL: "RIGHT NOW, it's a whole different ballgame for CARIMI when it comes to singles. Me PERSONALLY, I don't think that the band needs to release a new single anytime soon in order to get an extra boost until the new cd comes out. We have other resources working for us that we can use. A single released many months before the cd is out only helps THE BANDS, but NOT the album. It kills the hype of the CD if the cd is NOT ready shortly after the single's release."
MICKAEL continues "With CARNAVAL now, and also with us having yet to play the songs "COUVRE FEU" and "PRAN POZ OU" off the last Carimi CD, there is no need for us to drop a new song out on the market. The song "TCHA TCHA" we started playing many many months later after our cd was released, and I can honestly say that we rode off of that son's success for a good 6 months because of how well the public received it LIVE. If it's up to me, I would release a new single just a couple of weeks before the new cd drops."

Sometimes the band needs NEW MATERIAL A.S.A.P to keep a momentum going if the new CD is NOT close to being ready, and the old material is old.
NU LOOK did it with
TVICE did it with "4 LAS".
DJAKOUT did it with "LWE CHIST LA"
KREZI did it with "OU GIN DEFO"

AZibdoemwow song is pacify the fans until the next CD comes out in a year or two!!!!
Pran Poz is supposed to keep people at bay!!!!
Well, maybe they got a good reason but a band who needs new material out there is them. Anyway, I though Glenny had a solo project coming out.
Mikael monche, come on man, bay public la yon bagay bon nan main moun!!!
If its good map di'l, I am not into playing games with people.
