 |
|
I have been made aware by the top 2 promoters in Atlanta (Josee and Kalito) that they have a bone to pick with NU LOOK because of what they see as a sign of disrespect from the group.
There is this unwritten HMI rule that a band or promoter from OUT OF STATE can't just come in any town and throw a party without either teaming up with a LOCAL promoter, or at least consulting with the top dogs in that town. Apparently, ACCORDING TO THE TWO PROMOTERS, NU LOOK "disguised" the party in such a way by using a gentleman from out of town as the frontman, when they themselves are doing the party.
The ATLANTA promoters say that NU LOOK allegedly feel that because they have a hot CD, and because they have been packing places in different towns, they now want to break the HMI unwritten rule by tossing the promoters aside, and doing the party themselves, in order to get all the profits. Something that the promoters think that NU LOOK would NOT do with other "HEAVYWEIGHT" promoters in the business because there would be consequences.
JOSUE who does a party almost every month with a top HMI band is also steaming because that day, he and Kalito have T-VICE in town, a date that they say that they've had since APRIL, and for a small HMI town like Atlanta, they say 2 major parties CAN'T happen on the same day. They feel that NU LOOK is now trying to flex its muscles because of the CD that they have right now....and JOSEE and KALITO say that they will NOT be disrespected in their own hometown by NU LOOK.
They called and spoke to GAZZMAN about the issue, but Gazzman alledgedly told them that the Nu Look party will go on, despite the fact that THE ATLANTA PROMOTERS had the TVICE date booked for months on that day.
The promoters say that NU LOOK will learn a lesson that day about NOT having RESPECT OF THE BUSINESS by following the ethics/code of the HMI. They feel that NU LOOK AP PARET EN GRAN NEG NAN TOWN YO AN and are disrespecting them in the process.
The ATLANTA promoters have also guaranteed that because of the way that they went about the issue, NU LOOK will see that ATLANTA HMI fans are loyal to people that they know, and due to the fact that the gentleman that is put as the frontman on the bal is not a LOCAL who lives in Atlanta, they will see the results.
IT'S GETTING HEATED....As the date in question is SEPTEMBER 27th.
A suivre!

This rule should stay unwritten. This is total BS what these Atlanta promoters are pushing. First of all, why can an outsider cannot do a bal in a territory outside of his own area. I find this to be actually in violation with the US Constitution which allows for INTERSTATE COMMERCE.
Also, I find funny that their friends will not give support to the outsider, but people do not go to bals for the promoters!!!! _________________ Statehood or Bust |

Pat se règle sa a ki pa ekri a wi mwen te di nan post nouvo promotè yo pa jwenn chans yo a. Nu-Look konnin yo supposé passé pa ancien promotè yo avan pou yo bay nouvo promotè a chans li. Nu-Look mélé nan Atlanta ak tout nouvo promotè sa a. Se yon règle ki pa ékri nul part min ke tout moun respekté nan tout koté nan HMI. _________________ Haitienne, Grenadière et Apache pour la vie |

Atlanta doesn't have too many haitians to have two parties at the same night. When you're in a business you should follow unwritten rules, just to make sure you don't have ennemies. Obviously Nu Look dont care about that..... Nu Look dwe konnen se pa toutan yap hot, le sa pa bon yap bezwen moun tou.... |

A la yon HMI SA PAPA!
TOUT MOUN AP METE PONYET NAN YON TI KOZE SIMPLE.
SAK FE LI DIFISIL POU yon lot Frere compatriot manger. mezanmi ro!
Is it a hard process to share the well. T-VICE have his own Follower and i am sure Nulook have their own Fans/followers. Valeur fois gin bal ou tande that famous Quote, "that's not my Crowd i will stay home" now on that day it is a win and win situation for the Compas fan and Promotors simply are letting their Greeds gets in the middle of the Fans Happiness. _________________ JISKOZO EPI NINPOTKIJAN

Man, I wish I was a promoter, first thing they get from a cease and desist letter and it will spell out clearly Federal laws being violated. I own their momma house if they come messing with me.
You wonder why this market cannot grow and be properly regulated. They break laws to maintain a state of thuggery. _________________ Statehood or Bust |
