BUT, THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION IS: HOW ALL THESE MONEY WILL GET TO THE VICTIMS IF THEY EVER MAKE IT THERE?

ALSO, ARE ALL THOSE MONEY GOING TO RED CROSS THAT WOULD TAKE CHARGE GETTING THE MONEY THERE? IF NOT, THIS IS A LOST CAUSE
I HOPE THAT IS THE CASE! BECAUSE, SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO TAKE LEAD WHENEVER THERE IS A CALAMITY TO PROFIT FROM IT!

Celestin, I opened a post about that and asked that all parties consider handing the funds over to the RED CROSS for proper management and distribution as well as to provide reports on the spending of those funds.

I understand where those posts are coming from. But I am wondering what is that any of you who are bringing those questions are doing to help. Talk is so cheap, it makes me want to puke.

I agree that the red cross is a well recognize and reputable organization, but is it really the answer to what we want to do. Is there anything wrong if a promotor decided to do a bal, and decide by himself what he wants to do with the money, as far as distributing it is concerned? What's wrong if a Haitian organization wanted to do its own distribution of the funds?

Yes, we have some corrupted people amongst us, so do you think there's no corruption going on with the Red Cross. This brainwashing must stop.

It is time we start trusting one another. The blaming game can only take us so far. I believe that the majority of us are good people, so why not try to find the good ones, and let them take charge. We, Haitians, must learn to do things for ourselves. And the call to hand all proceeds to the Red cross is insulting to say the least.

Can a Gonaivien decide how best to distribute the goods amass for the victims. I'm sure we can find one reputable Haitian from Gonaives, Fond-Parisien, Mirebalais, etc...to take care of this issue. When will we learn to trust one another. Until we learn to do so, Haiti will always be in this predicament. We will always have to find ways to put a band-aid on a tumor, instead of finding ways to cure a tumor...

Anyways, many of u so called intelligent people, make me sick.

red cross are you killing me when give money to them on $.1 to $.3 on the dollar went to haiti so rather do it youself that way all the money will end up where you need it to be
