Scoreless game at halftime.
The Trinis are doing a good job keeping up with the Swedes. If only they can get some penetration and score, we just might look at another upset. We'll see what happens in the next 45 minutes. _________________ Bat Chyen An Tan'n Met Li

Trinidad is putting up a good fight but neg ya paka attake, gadien pral fatigue, they need to attack, it seems like there's twice as many sweeden as there are trinis, I don't know, if Trini wins, that would be a great upset

Wow, what an intense game. You gotta give it to the Trinis, they managed to withstand the Swedish intensity and held their own. Wow! How about the keeper Hislop!

Maybe The Ivory Coast can pull another WC upset if not a bigger one over Argentina. _________________ Bat Chyen An Tan'n Met Li

Papouche, wap suiv !! Trinidad gave a hell of a performance and let me tell you that if it wasn't for their solid defense and goalie, they would of lost the game. They need a little more control of the ball when they attack and they also need to pressure up front a little bit. But for a first World Cup performance, they did their thing big time. They were underestimated. Great game !!

That was a great game I was holding my breath in the last minutes because I really did not wanna see Trini lose it in the last minute. Trini put up a great fight, on the defensive point, they are solid, that goalkeeper is gold although he made a couple of mistakes that could have cost them the game but great job overall. They need to work on their offense, they cannot attack, it's like everytime the sweeds had the ball, Trinis just defend the ball but never really went after the ball.
I think this game will help them for the next game, and they may make it a little further than the critics predicted
Great game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trini's experienced Goalie, 34 year-old Hislop, saved the game for them. To think he was litterally a last minute replacement. I bet you for sure he will start the next game against England on Thursday.
At some point, Trinidad was playing to get a tie out of the game. They were mainly concentrating on protecting their keeper. Nothing wrong with that.
Good job Trini!!! _________________ Bat Chyen An Tan'n Met Li

T&T's strategy for this game was simple: play solid defense and hope to catch Sweden sleeping with a counter attack. They succeeded in keeping Sweden scoreless. They have a good chance to advance to the 2nd round if they beat Paraguay. It was a remarkable achievement on their part. _________________ Esquire |
