Frankly, it's pretty sad, I was watching the video of the crowd when Brazil came to play that friendly game in Haiti...
I see grown man running after their trucks crying and blowing kisses, the people acting as if their messiah had landed...
I had to turn it off...

I don't get it! Rolling Eyes

Confused

Angelo;

Like Baseball is America's past Time, then yo can say the same for Haiti when it comes to soccer.

also Brasil is a second country to most haitians, no matter what haitians will always root for Brasil.

Also the Brasilian knows that, why do you think Brasil accepted to play Haiti in the first place.

Why do you think, the President of Brasil as well as his star players make sure their where at that friendly game. there's alot you won't understand.

it's the same thing if you see Michael Jordan passing in front of you, you'll go crazy as well. Haitian yo, se bayo brasil epi that's it.

No lie right there Kafou.

4 yrs ago I went to Haiti for my cousins wedding

One day in my parents hometown I heard people singing
and blowing horns when I went outside

It was a mob of people celebrating I asked what's going on
they said Brazil won that's why I saw a mob of people
out in the street it was like a festival or something.
Plus they shooting the guns off.

Don't you have a favorite artist or actor Angelo?
I'm sure if you saw them you be just like those
grown man crying and blowing kisses too.

WOW WOW WOW. This was one of the greatest moments in the life of so many Haitians downthere, just by watching this it is hard not to be moved by it. If only I was able to save these images. Go Brazil.

This is the only country Haiti can connect to in the world cup that is Afro and a powerhouse. If you look closely, the poor tend to go for Brazil. They see a lot of black players on the team. You hardly see the poor cheering Italy or Argentina...EKIP BLAN MANAN!

But I take it as an insult when we put the Brazilian color higher than our color. Drapo Brazil la pa dwe monte sou tet kay nou...just enjoy a great team.
