Maybe this topic has been discussed here on km and I totally missed it.
But I think it might be time for a refresher course.
I've been listening to the mizik mizik nonstop ofcourse...
and the song called "nou la"... is suppose to be cadance rampa song.
Quite frankly... I don't see the real difference between that song and a konpa s ong.
what is it that makes it cadance ranpa?
What is the fundamental difference that differentiates the one from the other... meaning compas and cadance rampas.
I would like to know. |

I am no expert.
I can tell you one thing, Cadance Rampa is played with 3 tambours while most kompa bands only use 2...
the pace is a bit faster than kompa...
map baw yon ti exzanp....
Skah-Shah ak NU Look jwe plus yon style kompa while Tabou and Zenglen is more Cadance.....
en nou ret tann expert yo...

I wasn't born at the time,but I think Cadance rampa...is the same kompa but with a different flavor to it....
tou moun konnnen ke li te bon pase kompa......men akoz de popularite Nemour.... konpa made it.
