 |
|
ZENGLEN manager FARAH LARIEUX (Below) strongly refutes former Zenglen keyboardist DANO on 3 points. READ BELOW THE PICTURE FOR THE REST OF THE STORY
Picture: COURTESY of FOTOPAM!
ZENGLEN manager FARAH LARIEUX wanted to make things clear on 3 points that DANO made to Kompa Magazine in regards to what his situation was with ZENGLEN.
___________________________________________________________
*RESIGNATION LETTER: "As of right now MAY 5th, 2008, I still have NOT received a resignation letter from Dano. He had spoken to me and said that he was going to e-mail it to me when I called him to ask him about his resignation announcement to Kompa Magazine, back then he asked me if I had not yet received it in a very arrogant way. I said no. He then said that he was going to e-mail it to me, and I still have yet to receive it.
*$100 PER HAITI GIG ISSUE: "I think DANO forgot to tell you that he got payed IN FULL for this, and he also forgot to say that there was an issue behind this one. Before we left, because the promoters in Haiti had said that the price that we were going to get payed for the gigs was going to go down because it was our first tour with a new singer, RICHIE spoke to all the contractors in the band, and they all agreed that they were ok with the $100 per gig. DANO said that RICHIE did not tell him anything like that, and Richie was under the impression he did, and that is why after we did the payroll for the tour, DANO got payed $1900 for 19 gigs.
When it was clear that the issue was a misunderstanding that took place, WE PAYED DANO THE BALANCE OF THE MONEY, which was an addition $950. He somehow forgot to tell you about that when he brought up that $100 per gig issue for the Haiti tour. Realistically, HE GOT PAYED IN FULL and MORE than the $100 per gig."
*GETTING PAID FOR THE ZENGLEN CD: "DANO said that he did not get payed for the Zenglen cd. On the THURSDAY before he left, he spoke to BRUTUS and RICHIE about that, and the guys made him understand that the cd was NOT yet out, and that being it is a co-production with TROPIKAL RECORDS, we would pay him his money once the money started coming in.
I brought up the fact that he still has ZENGLEN's MODULE in his possession, and inquired as to when he would be able to return it to us. I also told him that we would have to TEST IT to see if it works, he sucked his teeth and hung up the phone on me. When you do that, you are no longer priority to me when it comes to you getting payed your money. If you hang up on me, I will NOT call you in order for you to come get your money. If he wants his money, he has to call me, and we still have to test the ZENGLEN module to make sure that it works perfectly as well."

Honestly, I don't see how her comments justify Zenglen's actions. She should've just stayed quiet as things were starting to die down. _________________ Man becomes man only by his intelligence, but he is man only by his heart.

Pat, Ms. Larieux is now saying that it was not Richie that made the price for him it was the whole band, pojiab Dano the other members think you are worth nothing. Of course, there was onfusion in communicating this to Dano, COME ON NOW>
Worst yet, the reason for not getting paid for his studio work is because Zenglen did not receive any money from the album yet. Ok, is Zenglen so broke they could advance the dude the money. _________________ Statehood or Bust |
