Man I was a DJ for about 5-6 years with only 2 records in my crate Alan Cave Zin LAGEM and Rike Alphabet...
It wasn't untill the Carimi " Bang Bang" album and Black Parents hit single Sensuel...I decided to spin Kompa Full time.

Kassav and Tropicana introduced me to mizik antiyèz, but it was really Zin's «Al Chita» and Skah Shah's «S'on ti insidan» (not sure of the title) who got hooked on kompa!!

DP Express got me into Konpa! I was in love with this band , Their energy on stage was just contagious!!!!!!!! And off course Le grand "Dieudonne Larose" That's my dawg right now! People still make fun of me for the way i use to Imitate Larose.
