Here is the Vital information that you have been waiting so patiently for...

The Schedule of Events for the weekend of January 19, 2008 - The 5th Annual Haitian Independence Festival is as follows:

The appetizer of the weekend will be the Official Nu Look CD Release Party at Marabou Cafe on Thursday, January 17, 2008, where the party will be $20 before midnight and where EVERYONE in attendance will recieve an Album.

A Press Conference is set for Friday, January 18th at 6pm, at Marabou Cafe in Pembroke Pines, where only the media is invited to have the opportunity to retrieve all the necessary 411 for the festival and speak to some of the musicians and of course the committee members.

Following the Press Conference is the Official Kick-off Party at BONGO's in Downtown Miami with none other than T-Vice, Carimi & Krezi Mizik.. If you guys attended last years Kick-off Shindig than you know that this party is the one to be at.. Downtown Miami has a less strict noise restriction which means ALL 3 Bands WILL have ample time to give their fans what they need and crave.. Bon Compas!!

Of course the festival is on Saturday, January 19th is the 5th Annual Independence Festival.. like a Thanksgiving feast with all the fixings... We are ready to serve you!

The festivities continue with the Official After Party on Sunday, January 20th at Marabou Cafe with Djakout Mizik and CaRiMi... You know the area will be full of fans, musicians, artists and media members so you never know what suprises might ignite with such a hot combination...

The Dr. Martin Luther King weekend winds down with an extra special Bouillon Night on Monday, January 21st at Marabou Cafe with Krezi Mizik and Nu Lookand maybe some guest appearances, you never know..

See guys it is a fun filled packed agenda - a New Year's gift from us to you...

Pat, we would love to give back to KM by having a Kick-Off Party Ticket Give-away.... So please help me make that happen... The KM members deserve it!

Tickets for all of the events are available in stores now and online at the same place that will be LIVE at the event. Hotel Packages and Party Packs are availabe as well.

Guys, I totally forgot to add one of the best parts of the Itenerary.. which is the Official NU LOOK CD Release Party at Marabou Cafe on Thursday, January 17, 2008, where everyone in attendance will recieve a CD.

Also at Bouillon Night Krezi will be playing alongside Nu Look, and I omitted that...

I apologize but wanted to let you guys know that I did correct it on my initial post.

Funky.. the orgnizers went back and forth on this and we took an online poll here on KM and this is what the committee approved and came up with...

I'm sure there's got to be one out of 5 parties that appeals to you mama... I hope to see you atleast in one of them...

Tipoupee... we would not have organized it with 3 bands again this year after what happened last year. This is one of the reasons why we ask everyone to get to the parties early enough so that all bands get the quality time they deserve... also it is a different venue that is more lenient as far as going over on time...

So.... let's try to be a little more positive and look towards the future, not the past!

Thanks for the information, a few quesiton though:

Is there a chance of a Upper East Coase (NY) party akin to what Nu Look is doing in FL to promote the album as well?

It seems as though the focus is on Florida, and if there is a plan for New York, is these something also in the works for Haiti?
