WASHINGTON, 9 mai 2006 (AFP) -
Le gouverneur de Floride Jeb Bush, frère du président américain George W. Bush, représentera les Etats-Unis lors des cérémonies d'investiture du président haïtien René Préval dimanche, a annoncé mardi la Maison Blanche.

Dans un communiqué, la Maison Blanche précise que Jeb Bush sera accompagné lors des cérémonies du 14 mai par Janet Ann Sanderson, ambassadeur de Washington à Port-au-Prince et Rony François, secrétaire à la Santé de la Floride et d'origine haïtienne.

René Préval a été élu président le 7 février dernier et son parti "L'espoir" est arrivé en tête des élections législatives.

Interesting that Jeb Bush is the one to be sent at the inauguration. That shows the importance of Haiti on the Washington‘s list. Yet when it is time for a coup, they deploy their best and dirty diplomats.

So far Preval is playing the card like a pro. Don't show the enemy your card; instead TEASE them.
