I don't know about you guys but I LIKE IT A LOT when MIKA drops his RAGGA RAPS in the middle of the Compas songs that he sings. HE BRINGS THE SONGS ALIVE when he does that, and I must say that there is something that he does that I can't quite pinpoint with those RAGGA RAPS, that simply just makes me get off my seat to start JUMPING/WILDING OUT.

MY TWO FAVORITE MIKA "RAGGA RAPS" in his POPULAR songs SO FAR are in "LET'S TALK" (Tell Me Whatcha Want My Baby), and "BANM YON TI CHANS"...NOT a Compas song, but that part (When ME thirsty Find Me Water)

MIKA...SE OU KI KA FEL.....FEL TOUJOU "RAGGA RAPS"...MIKA STYLEE!

Are you serious? LOTS OF COMPLAINTS about MIKA's RAGGA RAPS?
I never heard of that because I LIKE THEM A LOT when he drops them in the middle of a song.

seriously, i heard a lot of complaints while others like you and myself might like it. I conducted an interview well sou krezi mizik most of the complaints come out the fact that Mika put that lil spice of ragga raps into it. I dont think it's a bad idea what Mika has done, it could be the fact that people dont think Kompa is Mika style, but mesye yo dim li un petit peu tourmente yo specialy le yap danse ak ti mennaj yo.

I will admit at times the ragga stuff comes in at inopportune times when the groove is about to get interesting. I call Mika an alternative compas singer, if you start off the song with a nice reggae-esque groove and pop here and there ragga stuff then it makes sense and Mika is good at doing that.

But at times, when you in a full kompa groove and then you pop some ragga stuff, sometimes it just does not make sense primarily because people are not expecting it. Some folks like that and others don't, I say do it in moderation.
