 |
|
My sources tell me that GABEL will try the "BETON" in Haiti in 2008 at carnival. It looks like they already have their sponsors in place, and all they have to do is come up with a carnival, and they are good to go.
I have heard how BETON AN PA FASIL from many many bands (Ask CARIMI ak ZENGLEN), will GABEL ACCOMPLISH THE MISSION or are they heading on a suicide mission?
A SUIVRE!
KATALOG with his voice/bravado has the ingredients to take on the BETON, but will the voice be able to last for 3 days, and will the band get the fans hyped enough with their carnival?
A SUIVRE!
GABEL "MANJE...VENTE YO PLEIN"...Let's see what happens.

I like the fact Gabel is not affraid of failure!
Anything bad happens, they can always take the learning curves and try again Next year. _________________ JISKOZO EPI NINPOTKIJAN

It's a risky move by Gabel to try the Beton but you don't succeed in the HMI unless you're willing to take chances. If all goes well for them, it will pay major dividends for them. On the other hand, it can hurt their chances at being accepted in what is already considered the toughest HMI market in Haiti.
I can almost picture the "a3" women on top of the float.
Good luck Gabel! |

If i was them i would hold off on that. The public in the motherland aren't familiar enough with the band. |

Qui ne risque rien n'a rien!
If they don't do well in 2008, they will work harder
on the weaknesses for future carnivals.
It will be a learning experience for the band.
I don't think longevity matters to have a good
performance on Champs-de-Mars.
It's either you have what it takes or you don't. |
