ACCORDING TO CARIMI MANAGER FITO FARINEN, there is a huge problem with the NEW YORK MARKET because

FARINEN: "All the promoters want the SAME DATES, the SAME BANDS, and the SAME VENUE to do their bals. Plus in the New York market, they don't really have a steady clear number 1 promoter. NO ONE IN NEW YORK has control of the market, compared to other markets in the hmi such as Haiti, Florida, and Boston. Promoters come and go in the New York market, which is why CARIMI does not associate themselves with one particular promoter/representative in that market like we do with RODNEY in FLORIDA, and JOUBERT in Haiti."

One thing fito has not said is the fact that ny, neg yo plis kanpe sou gang in order to get things done. How woudl he associate with a particular promoter when he knows for sure that promoter would be in trouble with other promoters?

Fito se neg Boston, I can see why he cannot relate but you got to eat so you deal with it. The reason from transient nature of the HMI in NYC well is the quality of most of the promoters and the venues they are limited too.

They are some that are professional but it seems on the average many are not don't seem to respect their market either as well.
