thanks Kunta,
the audio is awesome, band was tight. this is when kompa was kompa, bands rehearsed long & hard before going into to studio to lay the track down live. the video makes you want to smack your computer a few times to try to clear up the image.

as you can see, it is not the same as today. Everybody on the stage look like they were having fun. I just added another clip.

My sentiments ecactly... if it sounds like that coming from a 20+ year old VHS tape, immagine what it was like the day of the concert...WOW!!!!!
I remember vividly this performance and all those that were held at Gymnasium JC Duvallier (now Gymnasium vincent) that summer. all the great were there: DP, Scorpio, Bossa etc. I was too young to go myself but was sooooooooooooo envious of my older cousins who had the opportunity to go with their friends. I had no choice but to watch TNH. WAsn t the same but still it was a lot of fun to see the bands performing like that.
If you have more like that Kunta please continue bringing them to us becaue this brings back some fond memories of simpler and very enjoyable times.
