The hunt for the most prestigious European Trophy has begun. European Kings, AC Milan will have to battle improved teams such as Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool again to dominate to European Continent. The same as last time, the battle won't be easy.
Real Madrid had some major changes during the off-season and they are not waiting for too long to see the results. They're off for a perfect start in La Liga and yesterday, they beat Werder Bremen [b]2-1[/b], goals provided by Raul and Nistelrooy. Real Madrid are for real this season! The New Roberto Carlos, Marcelo, played a very good game yesterday.
Liverpool, finalist of the champions league was held 1-1 by FC Porto. Reduced by 10-men, they managed to get the draw. Torres who turned the light on in Liverpool during the Premiership wasn't a big factor at all in this game.
Chelsea had a disappointing draw to Rosenborg. Led by a goal throughout the entire first half, Shevchenko saved the team from embarrassment when he leveled the score to a 1-1 draw at the 53rd minutes.
AC Milan have open their conquest for a consecutive European Title in style. They finished off Benfica early in the first half by scoring twice with Pirlo on a magistral free kick and Inzaghy on a "Reprise De Volee". They played well yesterday as they beat 2-1. Milan is still waiting for Ronaldo to get out of injury and Pato to play in january.

Notables Games today:
Arsenal vs Sevilla: it's going to be a great game,. Arsenal has proven that they can make it without Henry and Sevilla has a beast named D. Alves. Argentina is still carrying its wound from the Copa America Final.
Barcelona vs Lyon: Messi will make his return to the squad and Henry has yet to score a goal.
Manchester United vs Sporting Lisbon: C. Ronaldo is back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Inter Milan vs Fenerbahce: We'll see if Adriano will make the starting lineup. He played on sunday, didn't score but had a good game.
