Siro, you won't regret it. It's addictive' especially if you take the Netflix route. It'll be 2 am and you'll be trying to get one last fix 
Game of Thrones is excellent. You just have to keep up with the names and cast of characters. I've had to go back to previous seasons to better understand current plots.
Boardwalk Empire is good too--based on real characters: Capone, Lansky, Lucky Lucciano etc. during prohibition. My only problem with the show is Stece Buscemi as the lead, Nucky Thompson. Hes a very good actor, but he has yet to convince me that he's a big time gangster boss.
