Am I the only one that was pissed off at Nu Look on Friday night??

They had a great performance. I danced my a$$ of!! These guys knows what it means to perform live and put on a hell of a show. The place was energized, the crowed was buzzed right until the end. In that sense it was a great bal, better then a few I've attended the last few months at SOB's.

But still, it was only 1:45 minutes of fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
They started playing at 1:20am, 1:20am in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And for the 1st 2 songs, the sound was awful!! Plus they took a break to do some raffle, and sang their "au revoir" song at 3:45pm!!! Which all together resulted in about 1h45mn of music!!! Sa se derespektan!! I know the quality was good, but no quality can justify paying $25 for 1h45mns!

This starting time issue is starting to be a ridiculous thing at SOB's. I'm not sure if it's the bands not giving a rat's a$$ or the sound people playing tricks but this is ridiculous! Why exactly is that they always take forever to set up? I don't get that while the rest of the band was on stage making sure their instruments were working, Arly & Gazmann were no were to be found. Then when they finally decided to take the stage, that's when they started complaining "bagay yo pa mache byen" which resulted in the 1st 2 songs sounding off and muffled because they had to figure their stuff out.

For what it's worth Nu Look played well, and all present really enjoyed themselves. But less then 2 hours playtime for 1 band, when it's just one band playing, that's ridiculous.

it was a great party but seriously the time is definitely a big issue and the sound at SOB's is getting worse day by day. but Nu Look had the place pack inside out. their performance made up for the tardiness. it was a blast.

Choubenz, you are right. im sure li ka jere sa avek met club la man. sa paret like se fault band yo ki pa byen jwe. li ginle ap tann when people stop coming and bands stop playing for him to do something about the sound. i love that little club amor man, but Jube needs to take car of that. se pa mete lajan nan poche yo selman.
