*PART 2 shows you the number of votes + WHO voted for them on the 62 Member panel.

*PART 3 are some of the QUOTES from members of our panel FOR THAT CATEGORY.
___________________________________________________________

The award goes to KLASS

ANALYSIS:
*KLASS becomes the first group to win this award 3 years IN A ROW. There was simply no denying it from our panel. Even though the group is not at the level in terms of popularity that they were in 2014 or 2013 (CD is old on the market); they still remain at the top in terms of popularity/hottest ticket in town on the BAL/LIVE circuit according to our panel....and they are getting ready to drop a brand new CD in 2016.

FRERO ZENGLEN: "Mwen panse KLASS. Mwen panse as a full KONPA DIREK BAND, Depi yo soti an yap mache. Yo kenbe yon standard."

*JEAN MAX VALCOURT: "The Group of the year still remains KLASS, no doubt. So far they are the group with the most demands in the HMI."

*PATRICK SESANET Boston: "5 LAN is the group of year. They surprised everyone with their style and they even came up with "Men djaz gouyad la" which I think was brilliant. They moved from being a small band to a 300+ band."

*ANOUCE JOACHIM: "Djakout #1. Despite the the social and political situation in Haiti, Djakout #1 remain the band with the most hit songs played on the radio as well as the internet. Djakout #1 was booked throughout the entire year of 2015 in Haiti as well as the Diaspora. They are the first band to open the kompa market in the republic of Chile. Djakout was by far the band with the best sound and performance on Champ de Mars during the 2 carnival days."

I sincerely hope I don't get banned from this site for keeping it real...
But dammit Roberto from T-Vice please wake up. How can you not KNOW OR SEE, that KLASS is the number one band for the year of 2015.
Your out of sight comment "There is no clear winner" is by far the most childish I have ever read. I swear our industry had the worst haters and the most biased musicians...

Antouka Pat, I'm sorry if I've violated any rules with my comments.

U shouldn't get ban 4 stated the fact. Roberto shouldn't have the right to vote. Conflict of interest. Misye voté pou Xtassy comme song of the year. Klass once again shows they are in a Klass by themselves. They'll do it again in 2016

Klass had another awesome year no doubt. Congrats to the Klass crew. Nu look as a runner up makes sense to me also. But Djakout #1? I know they're booked a lot in Haiti, but is it me or m'pa senti Djakout #1 should even be in a conversation for band of the year.

I actually think they dropped the ball. Their CD has momentum and I don't think they did a good marketing strategy to really get them going.

I'm giving a shoutout to 5Lan. Not my style at all, but there songs all over the clubs.

Is 5 lan a band?

But man... Gotta give KLASS their props.

Has a band ever been carried so high by the same album for three straight years? Crazy...
