Kafou, for your info, skah shah, tabou, accolade, freres dejean had never taken part in carnavla as far i could remember. Skah shah had composed some great kompas songs about knaval, but never taken part in carnaval. Tabou took part once and they did great without an offical meringue. By the way, taht explains moun lontan yo te kon sak rele mizik plis.

By the way, kafou, most meringues used to have a kompas component into them. Knaval is not waht it is today. Bands like coupe, scorpio, bossa had a kompas component in their carnavals. They used play both interminttently. So, just to show you how kompas was very important to the bands and their fans. se le kanaval te kanaval. A band did not officially need a meringue to take part in carnaval.

I believe that Arly can have a hit carnaval if he wants to because kazak Experyans used to have great carnival songs and He was a big part of it.

I guess for now we can say that they CAN ' T, because Arly tried it with Nulook 3 or 4 yrs ago and it wasn t succesfull. Ritchie tried it with Zenglen same result..
