JAZ ENTERPRISE TO PRESENT ITS 8TH ANNUAL “LA NUIT DES JEUNES”
CONCERT EXTRAVAGANZA ON MARCH 23, 2013 AT TERMINAL 5 IN MANHATTAN

New York, NY – January 24, 2013 – Today Jaz Enterprise announced the official performance roster for its annual La Nuit Des Jeunes, a concert celebration of contemporary Haitian music, heritage and culture. Now entering its eighth year, the 2013 edition of La Nuit Des Jeunes is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd. One of the largest yearly concert productions of the Haitian Music Industry, La Nuit Des Jeunes will return to Manhattan with a debut at Terminal 5, a premier multi-level music venue. Targeting the younger generation of Konpa and Zouk music enthusiasts, the live event will feature triple headliners T-Vice, CaRiMi and Kreyol La, as well as special guest performers Fanny J., Warren, Ekzotik, DJ Stakz Hi-Profyle, DJ Smoke and DJ RickyGroov.

La Nuit Des Jeunes attracts over 3,000 avid attendees from the tri-state area and across the U.S. To commemorate the 8th annual showcase, the 2013 event theme spotlights a musical voyage comprising eight distinct acts on one stage. Concert goers are invited to bring their exclusive Jaz Enterprise Passport to enter Terminal 5 for an unforgettable entertainment extravaganza. In previous years, La Nuit Des Jeunes has been produced at other prominent New York City music venues such as the famed Hammerstein Ballroom and Roseland Ballroom.

“We welcome attendees to join us at Terminal 5 in Manhattan to enjoy the ultimate concert experience,” said Evens Blaise of Jaz Enterprise. “As in previous years, we will offer surprises that you won’t want to miss. We are looking forward to presenting our industry’s top talent and greatly appreciate the continued support of La Nuit Des Jeunes.”

Back by popular demand, “Nouvel Generasyon” Konpa sensations T-Vice, CaRiMi and Kreyol La will transport attendees to a musical journey of their greatest hit songs. Known for delivering international sold-out shows, the talented headliners promise to present another show-stopping performance for their loyal La Nuit Des Jeunes fans.

Zouk music will soar with two of the industry’s most popular artists, Fanny J. and Warren. In anticipation of her third studio album release scheduled for 2013, Fanny J. will make her first appearance at La Nuit Des Jeunes. Born in French Guyana, Fanny J. has performed across Africa, Brazil, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe and the United States. Fellow Guyanese Warren, who discovered Fanny J., will also make his premiere La Nuit Des Jeunes performance. As a noted producer and singer, Warren will provide his unique mix of Zouk, R&B, Hip Hop and Konpa music that generates buzz among fans worldwide. As a special treat, Warren and Fanny J. will grace the stage together and entertain participants with their exhilarating chemistry.

The Haitian Music Industry’s up-and-coming talent will once again be highlighted by Jaz Enterprise. This year, New York-based guest band Ekzotik will launch the evening’s festivities. Created in 2012 by three friends, James Lobertho Mireau, Jude Marcellus and Guy Jules, the band released a debut single entitled “Padone’m” along with a video in the summer of 2012 and currently putting the finishing touches in the studio on their first CD.

Throughout the night of non-stop live entertainment, La Nuit Des Jeunes will feature the super sounds of New York’s DJ Stakz Hi-Profyle, one of the most recognizable DJ’s in today’s market. Along with DJ Stakz, special guests DJ Smoke of New York and Boston’s DJ RickyGroov will take over the stage to move the crowd with an electrifying mix of musical genres.

U make a good point. But I think that most people go to these events largely not for the bands & their recycled sounds & preformances but for the sake of going out & being part of the broader experience. I'll check it out bc I've never been to a LNJ b4

Im with Yanvaloo... It would have been nice to see something fresh aside from the same old Carimi and Tvice... A Kreyol la, Gabel, and harmonik or Karizma would have been nice... Oh well have fun!

Pat, Im aware that Kreyol la is part of the line up... Thats a good look... I was referring more to Tvice and Carimi.. It would have been nice to see other bands instead of those two. My suggestions were Gabel, Karizma, or maybe Harmonik... But regardless I wish the Promoters, Entertainers, and all involved a successful evening...

I am planning to attend Cz it is a concert type event
And I love this type of event. JE have not disappoint me so far when it come to their organisation skills on stage
this one Haitian event my son looks forward to attend she he reach the right age lolll
