We asked CARIMI manager FITO FARINEN in response to RESHKA's comment about "The door being open for Carimi" at FOS BARON; if the group would indeed take them up on that offer since KARIBANA has officially cancelled; this is what he told KM.
FITO FARINEN "It's NOT like you bought a BMW and then you feel that you should have bought a MERCEDES. WE MADE A BUSINESS DECISION and we have to stick to it and live with it. NOU PA GIN FOLI JWE that we are going to run to go play at gigs. When I made the deal with Karibana, it was with the assumption that FOS BARON was NOT going to take place again this year. Yes I should have called Fos Baron to verify, but I was wrong for not doing so."
FITO continues "I don't think they need CARIMI or/and TVICE to have a good festival/show because they have a good lineup and we wish them luck. Next year if they are still interested in us we can certainly sit down and talk about the show for 2011. As far as us, we'll be good because we have a full schedule, especially with the Parkway gig and other gigs as well for the weekend. Next year we can sit down with FOS BARON if they want us in their festival. No hard feelings."
