We asked TI JOE ZENNY what is KREYOL LA's secret since out of all the groups on the market, they are actually the only ones to have NOT had any members leave/quit the group. This is what he told Kompa Magazine.

(ENGLISH) TI JOE "Things that can create instability in a band are FINANCIAL, DIFFERENT CHARACTERS THAT DON'T CLICK WELL, and a third one is LOOKING FOR EXPOSURE IN A MORE POPULAR BAND. We have so many people that are waiting for us to look stupid, that gives us more energy to make them look bad. (Laughs).

KM: Did Joubert's presence contribute to no one leaving the band, and will him no longer being there affect the group's unity?

TI JOE "Joubert was a great mediator. Of course he played a major role in calming things down when there is tension. However one must also ask WHAT KIND OF TENSION? How serious? Sometimes what people are saying have nothing to do with the band. There is never anything major in the group in that sense. We sometimes disagree because we don't share the same ideas about certain things/issues; but that exists in every single band.

Nou konn fe kont paske nou pa gen menm point de vue menm jan li eksiste nan tout jazz. Concernat Kreyol La, musicien ka kite pou lot bagay, min se pa pou mal peye, move tretman, exploitation, ni exposure koz nou VANN tout musicien nou."

T Joe doesn't mention the number one virus that kills bands. Females, most of the time Female groupies. This is the number one band killer believe it or not
