sorry ,pat but it is all of the above except for the ladies part-  switch t USED TO attract ATTRACTIVE- YOUNG - EDUCATED MALE .. IN MTL SO MANY of my friends found their husband in CArimi  ,THERE was an urban legend amongst my girl passy that in carimi you found a hubby ( but not anymore the legend faded )

CARIMI is different and very creative. They know how to put up a show....They Believe in hard and they understand the buisness aspect of the MUSIC industry.... They are simply THE BEST in my book right now...!!!

Bang Bang was totally a propos when it came out. The whole album was a success and touched various age groups of the HMI.
It was creative, exciting and new. Loved it, still my favorite CD of the band.

there are other reasons as well but since we have to select the main reason, I will say B. Their first CD actually was a success because they were different, the marketing was on point and the guys are drop dead gorgeous/handsome. All of that set a great platform that has kept them around until now and will keep them around for years to come. While, they are commercially still a success I do feel they are going to bleed their formula dry. They are using the formula that will appease the masses right now...so I can't knock or hate the hustle.

As a new band you have to be extremely bold to take a tangent from the traditional Kompa and come up with something total new like CaRiMi did and still does by the way.
