Gromosso,

Tabou Combo, unique.
Thanks man, ou fem songe leu te jeune gason.
Gade yon jazz. Nobody could put on a show like those guys.
Se te style Earth, Wind and Fire yo gin sou yo la'a.
E pi neg yo al change rad yo.
Ala neg sa te interessan. Se neg yo ki te chelbe anpil, man.
Mwen songe yo te konn kraze Brooklyn College.
Gro, I have 16 Tabou Combo CD's.
My favorite is Masters.
How many CD's the band has produced.
I remember when they broke up in Haiti and had their last festival au Cine Paramount. That was sad, man. They went and picked everybody who used to be in the band, Sergo Guerrier, Ti Paul Gonel and the violin player ( I cant recall his name). After they finish playing, they announced ke jazz la ap kraze. I almost came to tears. They were my favorite band. That was something, man...
yo, thank you very much...

Gromosso, thank you sir. And do you guys notice the STAGE PRESENCE of the bands back then? This is a SHOW, this is what people come out to see. A band that will perform some solid material, and also put on a show with the whole band dressed up for the occasion. Bel bagay ou lage la'a Gro. Thanks again.

Guys, Kunta is the one that deserves all the credits. He's the one that has the footage and uploaded on Youtube.

So many fond memories of the old Haiti. I remember this Tabou performance. TNH te konn ap pase'l preske chak dimanche swa.

Perry, that's what I'm talking about bro, a band putting on a show for the crowd.

Thanks again Kaporal Kunta.

He's Herman Nau. He was secretaire d'etat des sports in the last Lavalas government. I think he's back in the states but dont know if he went back to Tabou. I think he's part owner of the band (please correct me if I'm wrong). He's a cool dude. His son is also a good drummer and was on the HMI scene for a while. I dont know if he still plays since I have not heard much about lately.

Thanks a lot Kunta. Always coming through with the CLASSICAL joints.

Gro, we need to go back to those days of the real meaning of a "Show"
