NU-TEMPO

Fondé le 22 juillet 2005, le groupe NU-TEMPO est un groupe composé de jeunes Haïtiens et Martiniquais passionnés de musique de variétés, ce qui oriente le groupe vers un répertoire riche en couleur. Associant le compas à divers styles tels que le Konpa et le Reggae Dance-all ainsi que le Rara. NU-TEMPO produit une musique hybride qui attire les mélomanes de toutes les générations. Le tout premier album du groupe, « DO IT » sorti en août 2006 en a étonné plus d’un,album prime lors de la soirée Zoukamine People. Il présente un subtil mélange des genres, regroupant l’ancienne et la nouvelle génération de compas direct. NU-TEMPO a su conquérir le public caraibéen qui s’identifie à travers des titres comme : Madinina, Nou rive, l’état pa papapaw, Gwo Dada, Hands up pour Obama,Tempo on Fire etc…

Sur scène, le professionnalisme des musiciens produit un vrai show et les fans adhèrent à cette ambiance festive qui incite au défoulement et fait oublier les soucis de la vie quotidienne «toujours sur le tempo le son coule comme du H2o»

Les prestations lives du groupe on été apprécié tout au longs de ces vacances dans les différents night clubs de la Martinique, telles que : le Tropicana café au Lamentin, le Boléro club à Rivière Salé, l’Amadeus et un festival de musique a la ferme perrine avec Volt-face,Bamboolaz,Princess Lover entre autres, aussi les fêtes patronales de : Bellefontaine, Basse pointe,la Place de la Victoire en Guadeloupe et le VIP Club à St martin. Le groupe travaille en ce moment sur le tournage de son deuxième clip « noël tou tan ».Nous avons lance le deuxieme album du groupe en version live qui vient de sortir avec le titre ``Gwo Hum Hum`` et un dvd live.NU-TEMPO sera en tournée en France pendant le mois de mai 2009, ainsi la préparation d`une tournée africaine pour la fin de l`année 2009.

I like the idea a lot though.
some haitians young ones as well as adults always saying things like "mwen pa nan politik" while everything around them is political..

that's teaching....

Okay I'm done...you guys are lucky you're not on FACE THE MUSIC because your score would NOT be to good. The vocals are just not working well for my ears...and what's the point of this song Confused ????? Yes I am for Obama but in regards to THIS BAND, what's its relevancy?????
