I know there's been many debates about hmi album release being 95% in creole. But In Today's market, wouldn't be wise for haitian artist to produce songs in various languages? Portuguese, Spanish, other languages where other countries listen to a similar musical format like konpa? It would probably limited remakes of our music in foreign languages as well! |

You are right, Track. We have discussed this topic many times before on KM. Vlad and I agreed that it would be best for a Haitian band to sing songs in other languages. It would be a smart move indeed. Exposure and mucho dinero! _________________ "Life is what you make it." |

Track,
Your suggestion is a very good idea. However, keep in mind that intonation in different languages vary, and the music need to also be modified to align with each respective language. |

Mach, You've heard some of the konpa i posted in spanish and from other countries, and they sounded pretty decent to me! Some sound better then a lot of what we hear in our language. But i do understand what your saying! |

Track,
You don't have to go further. Just listen to Skah Shah's Caroline. |
