I believe hard rock / heavy metal abuse could lead me to want to go out and commit an random act of violence. So I take my precautionary measures in the public's interest.

Bachata had an initial appeal to me but that was short-lived. Monotony of the lead stringed instrument (not sure if it's a guitar or banjo) killed that genre for me.

Hindu music yanked out my last nerve of tolerance. I am sure the tone, the rhythm and beat means a lot to a Hindu person like Konpa means to us. I respect it, but I don’t like it because it’s too whinny. I tried it with hip hop, (nada). I even heard it with zouk from this Hindu-Caribbean singer (nada). I’m yet to hear it with Konpa now that would be a funny experiment. I gave it a chance and I didn’t like it.

Reggaeton is something i cannot get into, the genre did explode for awhile and clearly as died off and suspect it will be around for latinos who wanna be rap stars but can't.

Zouk is alright, it does have a monotone feel come on the vocalists in that genre are awesome.
