There are a few things you should never do:
- argue about religion
- argue about politics
- argue about Magnum Band with Nèg Aux Cayes
For years one of my uncles was convinced Dadou was the greatest Haitian guitar player there ever was. He finally came round my side and agreed Dadou was likely the most original (i.e. distinct) of them all. |

Thank you for sharing. Yet you were not the only photographer at the event. Where are the other pictures? Why, when a band keeps its end of the bargain by showing up on time and delivering a good performance is it routinely ignored?
There's mad love and respect between Magnum and Zenglen; please don't say the H word. That's not what I'm talking about, and not where I want to go. I'm just saying that there is a very unhealthy trend of ignoring the good and celebrating the ugly, and we need to call it for what it is.
Peace,

Thanks for the PIX.........
I always enjoy seeing pics from the different parties and I thank the posters for bringing them to us; however I notice a trend from all of them and it's always the same. They only bring us pictures of their favorite bands, always and it's always the same excuse, yo te arrive late or they had to leave early.
You guys really don't play fair at all, si'w gadé bien most of the pics are from 4 bands maybe 5.

Tranquileasy, k-lito, sorry if it seemed like I was picking on you. Yet let me point out that you don't gain traction with BIG FONTS BOLD AND CAPITAL
Please don't apologize: your friends don't need it and your enemies won't believe you *winks*
I only took the opportunity to observe that there is a wicked bias for drama against conflict resolution, and that very bias goes to the heart of what is going on in the entertainment business--not just the HMI.
I'll accept that you have a life beyond my expectations. Yet who the WuTangFu was taking pictures and making sound recordings from midnight until the end of Magnum's show, and what the WuTangFu happened to those pictures and recordings?
I'm not greedy, I just want my

Yet these young lions are not too good when "it's come" [sic] to news gathering
Let me grab a towel.
Oh yeah, I get it: all journalists are on the payroll.
Not!
Let me say again, this is emphatically not a personal attack against k-lito!
This is a challenge to aiming higher!
Peace,
paul
