Well... I'm looking at both sides of the issue here.

Put yourself in the shoes of the concerned classes here, and you will understand both parties.

When you are affected by insecurity, murder, looting, robbery, and kidnapping caused by the gangs...

Btw, many musicians have suffered from this: Fabrice Rouzier, David Dupoux, and T-Vice as well... Their relatives have been kidnapped!!!

When you can't even celebrate the December holiday season peacefully because they have shut down all the daytime and nightlife activities...

Musicians as well have suffered from this... Kidnapping during/after bals, shooting, etc.

You will understand how they can be rubbed the wrong way seeing this.

Now, on the other hand...

When they are rejecting you, discriminating you, not giving you any job, no education, no food, no shelter...

When you feel they are monopolizing the economy, and not doing nothing at all for the lower classes, no development project...

You will understand that they have to find a way to live and eat.

When at least someone or a group of people is taking the risk to make a change happen, you will understand even more the ones taking the risk, and these people, because they feel like someone care about them.

And for that, we have to commend Wyclef and Yélé Haiti and T-Vice. At least, they are doing something that not even the government nor the so called elite class was willing to do.

After all... It's for the best of Haiti!!!

Fanm you are absolutely right but you have to understand the other point of view of the people who are not bourgois who are part of the middle class. They go to work everyday, they have their little car. All of the sudden yo kidnappe yo, yo vole ti machine nan, yo viole yo.

Yele is doing a great job, but at this point people are wondering if it is not photo op. In Haiti now an ONG or NGO is big business.

On this forum we advised Ti Vice to adopt a Park for example Pic Macaya in the south or Morne La Selle. They are 2 vital reserve for the country's future no they did not do that.

I have an article where Roberto is thanking Wycleff for bringing him to Cite Soleil.
I hope they could do more and on their own. THe same for Carimi. I know Micky did so much before Wycleff. The guys at Sunoto do things too, yet no one ever come here and say anything. Then again yo kidnape 2 fanmy yo deja. Na reflechi sou sa.
