We asked ALAN CAVE...NICKENSON PRUDHOMME and SHEDLEY ABRAHAM..who their HMI music idols were, as well as their favorite bands growing up.....this is what they had to say.
ALAN CAVE: "My favorite artist of all time in the hmi is none other than BOULO VALCOURT. My favorite band was ZEKLE because BEFORE Zekle, all I used to listen to was AMERICAN MUSIC, they brought something new to the market and made me become a fan of Haitian music."

NICKENSON PRUDHOMME: "My 2 favorite artists in the HMI of all time are FABRICE ROUZIER because of his musical discipline and ANSYTO MERCIER because of his sick melodies on the keyboard. YO TE KON FE'M KRIYE". My favorite band MIZIK MIZIK because they were different compared to the other bands. I also liked DIGITAL EXPRESS and MAGNUM BAND."

SHEDLY ABRAHAM: "I do not really have an HMI idol, but I do like EDDY BRISSEAUX a lot. His music is very original, and I learn a lot from his songs. As far as others, they are NOT in the hmi, they are jazz players CHICK CORREA and DAVE WECKEL. As far as band, I would say les FRERES DEJEAN."
